Australian boxer Ebanie Bridges has stated that her qualities are often overlooked as people are more interested in her boobs.

Bridges defeated Maria Cecilia Roman to become the IBF bantamweight champion in March, and some fans are finally beginning to recognise her ability.

After she uploaded a video of her victory against Roman on Twitter, one of her followers stated that he had underestimated her boxing ability.

"Was completely wrong about Ebanie Bridges, far better than I thought she was," read the message.

Bridges then quote tweeted the message and stated that she is used to a lack of recognition for her boxing ability.

"You musta been distracted by my boobs and couldn't see the skill," she said.

"Don't worry you're not alone, lots of haters out there can't get past the boobs... Glad you can see you was wrong."

Ebanie Bridges: I can fight and look hot on the scales.

Following her victory over Roman last month, Bridges launched a stinging attack on her critics.

"I would like to say, 'Can I f****** fight or not?'" she told DAZN Sports.

"F*** you guys who think I can't fight.

"I can f***ing fight. I can box, I can fight and I can look hot on the scales, so hopefully I've proved a lot of doubters wrong."

Ebanie Bridges said COVID-19 vaccine led to breast augmentation

In January 2021, Bridges stated that her breasts had grown after being vaccinated against COVID-19.

The 35-year-old commented on an article which claimed that the Pfizer vaccine was leading to women's breasts becoming larger.

"Not gonna lie, I feel like my boobs are huge lately... must be from the jab, all starting to make sense," she wrote on Twitter.
