With great beauty comes some compromises. Scarlett Johansson, known for portraying Natasha Romanoff in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been revered as a beautiful woman. The actor however has also lost several roles because of her beauty (which she did not regret losing).

According to media reports, Johansson auditioned for the lead role in the 2011 movie The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. She lost the role however since director David Fincher claimed that she was too s*xy to portray the lead character and instead chose Rooney Mara.

As per the words of the acclaimed director, David Fincher stated that the problem with Johansson was that people can’t wait for her to take off her clothes.
