Manchester City boss Guardiola was accused of banning his players from having sex ahead of a game shortly after arriving in the Premier League in 2016, a claim which he soon shut down.
"It is impossible to play good football if you don't make sex with your partner," he said. "It's impossible, I never did that. They have to do it. As much as they do it, better players."

Formula One drivers put their bodies through the mill with the insane g-forces they experiences when zooming around they track, so you would think they'd want to stay rested ahead of a race.
That wasn't the case for F1 legend Coulthard, though, who suggested some pre-race nookie made him faster behind the wheel. "Sure, why not? Sex makes you fast," he told the Irish Examiner in 2002.

UFC icon Rousey argued that sex before competing wasn't just about getting a boost, but also had major scientific benefits for her and her fellow fighters when she was the queen of Dana White's promotion.
Speaking to Jim Rome on Showtime in 2012, she said: "I mean for girls it raises your testosterone, so I try to have as much sex as possible before a fight, actually."
Rousey then quickly cleared up: "Not with like everybody. I don't put out Craigslist ads or anything, but you know, if I got a steady, I'm going to be like, 'Yo. Fight time's coming up'."

He told USA Today in 2016 that sex helps his game and shared his rather strong feelings on the matter. "I am a nympho, but I’m a loyal nympho," he began. "You stay loyal to me, I’ll stay loyal to you.
