World’s Most Luxurious ICE is taken from ancient glacier and shipped 9,000 miles to Dubai to melt in influencer's drink

Glaciers that are 100,000 years old provide the finest ice.

Influencers in Dubai can now enjoy elegant drinks made with ice that has been transported 9,000 kilometers from ancient glaciers in the Arctic.

The 100,000-year-old ice is taken out of broken glaciers in Greenland's fjords and transported to upscale bars in Dubai to be mixed into icy-cold margaritas.

Arctic Ice, a startup company situated in Nuuk, the nation's capital, gathers the ice and ships it abroad since it is believed to be cleaner and doesn't melt quickly.

"The ice is sourced directly from the Arctic's natural glaciers, which have been frozen for over 100,000 years," an official from the firm stated.

These ice sheet sections have not come into touch with any dirt or been exposed to contaminants that result from human activity.

"As a result, Arctic Ice is the purest H20 on Earth."

They explore the fjords surrounding Nuuk with a specialized boat equipped with a crane for pure ice that has never come into touch with the glacier's top or bottom.

They locate an appropriate area, remove the ice that has been crushed over millions of years, and then pack it into a plastic container.

Once the boat is full, the boxes are carried to the capital to be placed inside a bigger, refrigerated shipping container, which is subsequently transported to Denmark.

The distributor, Natural Ice, loads the ice onto another ship and sails it to Dubai, where it is sold.

The ice is then used to make beverages that are served at the upscale emirate's flashy bars.

Glacial ice is frequently used to make beverages in Greenland, and Arctic Ice hopes that the UAE will follow suit.

Because there are no air bubbles in the ice, according to co-founder Malik V. Rasmussen, the ice melts more slowly than regular ice.

Additionally, the glacier water is purer than the frozen mineral water that is usually served at Dubai's bars.

The firm only recently sent its first 20 metric tons of pure ice to Dubai, despite the fact that it was founded in 2022.

For Greenland, which is still largely dependent on Denmark for its economic needs, Rasmussen stated that he aims to create a new significant source of income.

"In Greenland, fish and tourism are our main sources of income," he remarked.

"I've been hoping to find something else we can use for profit for a long time."

"I actually think that I was brought into this world to help Greenland in its green transition," he continued.

Arctic Ice said that it will soon employ carbon-neutral ships for shipment in an effort to protect the environment.

The ice company resembles a skit in The Simpsons when store owner Apu employs an expedition crew to fly to the Arctic to harvest bags of ice for his refrigerators.

"You have to start charging more than a dollar a bag," the explorer declares. This trip cost us four more men's lives."

Apu responds, "If you can think of a better way to get ice, I'd like to hear it."
