EXCLUSIVE: Big breasts Alternative model and mum-of-two Aimee Smith has revealed which body part was the most painful to get tattooed - and explains why she had to stop the excruciating session.

Known as the “girl with the tattoos”, Aimee Smith is no stranger to being under the needle.

The alternative model has more than 40 inkings including several on her face.

She is so addicted to adding to her body art that she even has ambitions of getting her whole body covered in ink.

However, despite usually loving the therapeutic process, one brutal needle session almost pushed her over the edge.

The mum-of-two, from Oakham, East Mids, said her most agonising experience involved a tribal tattoo from her collarbone up to her chin.

She told the Daily Star: “Surprisingly that was the worst. It was a really long sitting and towards the end the pain was excruciating to the point where my eyes were watering and I had to stop. It wasn’t a massive piece but it was a sitting that took its toll on me.

“Arms and legs are more fatty areas but the way you have to position your throat back, after a while being uncomfortable really kicks in with the pain as well.

“The pressure too because you’re constantly wanting to cough when having it done or you have to swallow. It’s not as straightforward as a normal tattoo where you can just sit there without needing a break or have to move.”

Aimee, 23, became fascinated with tattoos as a little girl when she would marvel at the eye-popping transformations in shows like Miami Ink.

She then got her first inking aged 13 before practicing on her own leg after being gifted a tattoo machine.

One such experiment was an elephant on her ankle in tribute to her stepdad - and since then she has gone on to add some stunning artwork.

Aimee has several dainty designs on her face including a love heart as well as song lyrics on her eyelids symbolising how much her children mean to her.

She previously opened up about how tattoos are an integral part of her identity after she shared an unrecognisable old snap where she “felt lost”.

Aimee said: “Over the years tattoos have really helped me find myself and to get out of that tunnel of not knowing who I was.

“They have helped me find who I am and I don’t know who I would be without them.”

And one of her tattoos is a portrait from the 1991 film Drop Dead Fred.

Surprisingly, it is one of her most meaningful pieces.

Explaining why, she said: “That was my whole childhood and I was absolutely fixated with that film.

“It's something that is still a big part of me and a big part of my family. Some people look at it as just a film but that tattoo is so meaningful to me.

“It is happy memories and there are so many lines in the film that my family still say to this day just in general conversation.

“There was one line in particular and it’s so important to me, he says ‘you be yourself don’t be like her’ and that’s always stuck with me.”
