Amidst Sushant Singh Rajput's case investigation, Mahesh Bhatt's video with 16-year-old Jiah Khan goes viral
A video of Mahesh Bhatt witth 16-year-old Jiah Khan has been going viral. The video has been going viral since quite some time, mainly after Jiah's mother Rabia Khan spoke about movie mafia after Kangana Ranaut, both of who were talking about Sushant Singh Rajput's death case.
The video of Mahesh Bhatt and Jiah Khan, which is going viral, is from 2004. Jiah was supposed to make her Bollywood debut opposite 'serial kisser' Emraan Hashmi in 'Tumsa Nahin Dekha'. The 16-year-old could be seen holding hands with Mahesh Bhatt in the video, and then laughing, calling Mahesh Bhatt 'Mahesh'. Jiah Khan had successfully released six pop tracks by the time she turned 16-year-old.
Khan had turned down the offer thinking that she wouldn't be able to do justice to it. The role later went to Dia Mirza, while Jiah Khan made her debut opposite Amitabh Bachchan in Ram Gopal Varma's 'Nishabd', which was a love story between a young girl and a much elder man.
Jiah Khan was also offered to play Genelia D'Souza's role in Shahid Kapoor's 'Chance Pe Dance' in 2010. After the actress shot for a large portion of the film, she was replaced.
She was found dead under mysterious circumstances on June 3, 2013. A case was lodged against actor Sooraj Pancholi in the matter. Rabia Khan has gone on record to state that Mumbai Police 'tried to cover up her death' by calling it suicide, which she claims is again happening with Sushant Singh Rajput's death case.
Sushant was found dead in his Bandra apartment on June 14, 2020. After Supreme Court orders, the case has now been transferred from Mumbai Police and Bihar Police to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
