Lebanese model Nour Arida has moved to Paris after the Beirut explosion

Lebanese model and influencer Nour Arida has revealed that she has left her home in Beirut and moved to Paris after the horrific explosion which shattered Beirut on August 4th, killing at least 190 people and leaving thousands injured and homeless. Nour’s home was also destroyed in the tragic blast.

In a video which she shared on her Instagram she said “on one hand I feel happy and thankful for this new beginning. But only the other hand, I’m leaving my whole life behind and it makes me sad”.
She also posted a bittersweet image with her daughter Ayla who is 4, at the airport which was emotionally captioned “Beirut, you broke our hearts…. Goodbye”.

Her Instagram posts were flooded with message of hope and good luck. Rima Zahran wrote “Oufffff that must be so hard! But so proud of you for doing what it takes to make sure ur angel is safe and doesn’t have to go through that again! Bless u! Only amazing things coming you way inshallah”, and Rita Dahdah Fawaz commented “I love u guys. To better days ya rab”. Celebrities such as Karen Wazen and Cynthia Samuel showed their support with prayer and heart emojis, and TV host Pierre Rabbat commented “Good luck! Our kids deserve peace and stability”.
