Two counts of sexual battery of a pupil, aged 16 or 17, without coercion have been brought against 27-year-old Reagan Mobley Anderson. According to a letter from Holly Hill Academy in South Carolina, US, which News 4 was able to get on Wednesday, November 15, she has also lost her position while the inquiry is ongoing.

The 17-year-old student informed detectives that on October 28, local news station ABC 15 reported that the two had an unlawful rendezvous outside a fast-food restaurant. Additionally, Anderson is charged with having a sexual encounter with the same student on October 22 in the 1300 block of Bunch Ford Road.

Following the spread of rumors about an alleged unlawful tryst, Holly Hill Academy's assistant head of school Susan Paramore and head of school Brandy Mullennax met with police. According to the allegations, Anderson sent naked pictures over SnapChat.

A coach, another instructor, and a few students are said to have seen activity on the photo-sharing app related to the event that was reported. The 17-year-old allegedly received several snaps—both naked and not—over the course of several months, according to the authorities.

Anderson disputes the claims. She made her bond hearing appearance before Orangeburg County Magistrate Derrick Dash, answering the judge's inquiries with a simple "Yes, sir" or "No, sir."

The bail amount for the ex-teacher was $2,000, or around £1,600. Additionally, the judge ruled that Anderson was not permitted to communicate in person or on social media with the student or his family. She'll need to wear a GPS watch as well.

The school communicated their cooperation with law enforcement in a letter. It said that we, the school community, always work to give each and every one of our pupils a safe and secure learning environment.

Other than to reassure you that we will keep collaborating with law enforcement and provide our staff and students the assistance they require while we handle this issue, we are unable to comment on this topic at this time.

The inquiry is still ongoing.
