The dates of the remaining matches of the event have been finalized in consultation with the four teams – Multan Sultans, Karachi Kings, Lahore Qalandars, and Peshawar Zalmi – while the start time of the matches will be announced later.

Chief executive of PCB, Wasim Khan said,

“After this announcement not only all speculations will die down but now all the teams have ample time to prepare for these matches.”

The PCB chief executive said that the most important thing at the moment was for the teams participating in the tournament to record these dates in their diaries.

“PCB was determined to hold these four matches from the very beginning and the PCB believed that the winner of an event like PSL should come forward. We saw a lot of excitement for the event earlier this year and we are hopeful that a fan campaign will be launched before the rest of the matches,” said Wasim.

He further said that the announcement of holding the remaining four matches of PSL 2020 also confirms that Pakistan has managed to overcome the pandemic of COVID-19, like other sports, the domestic cricket season 21-2020. The start is also coming soon where home series with Zimbabwe and South Africa will be played, including competitions for various age groups, men’s and women’s cricket.

The successful hosting of Domestic Season 21-2020 matches will be helpful for PSL 2021 in February, March next year.

PCB chief executive concluded by saying,

“We look forward to sharing happiness on the faces of the people.”
