Rs 35 Per Liter Hike in Petrol and Diesel Prices | Latest petrol price in Pakistan

 

Islamabad: The price of petrol and diesel has been increased by Rs 35, 35 per liter across the country with immediate effect.

Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said in a press conference that due to the agreement with the IMF, the prices of petroleum products are being increased.

Ishaq Dar says that the prices of petrol and diesel have been increased by Rs.35.

New petrol price may go up to PKR 309 per liter in Pakistan.

The price of petrol has been increased to Rs 249.89, the price of high-speed diesel has been increased to Rs 262.80, the price of kerosene has been increased to Rs 189.83, while the price of light diesel oil has been increased to Rs 187 per liter.

Federal Finance Minister said that the price of petroleum products was speculated to increase by more than 50 rupees, but the government has tried to shift the minimum burden on the public.

Earlier, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) had rejected speculations of a hike in petrol and diesel prices.
