Greek Island Bans All Foreign Weddings After Couple’s oral sex Photo: See Pics

A British couple have caused major outrage in Rhodes by posing for a risque wedding photo outside of a sacred Greek monastery.

Matthew Lunn and his new wife Carly, from Birmingham, got married in Rhodes and wanted to take a picture which was more in tune with their cheeky sense of humour.

In the picture, Carly can be seen kneeling in her wedding dress in front of Matthew, seemingly replicating a sex act as Matthew punches the air.
But Matthew’s grandfather was less than impressed, telling the MailOnline he was ‘disgusted’.

The photo was posted to Facebook and went viral quickly, as most stuff like this does nowadays.

However, the island’s top bishop has now decided to forbid any more foreign weddings at the monastery of St Paul.

Giorgos Eleftheriou, president of the Lindos community on the island, told The Times:

"We are Greek and we cherish our traditions and the sanctity of our religious sites. We cannot allow this disgusting behaviour to prevail.

I have hundreds of soon-to-be brides from Britain and all over the world calling me today in tears because of this decision.

Shame on those two for the damage they have done. Would they have done the same in their homeland; in front of a British chapel, a Jewish temple, a Muslim mosque? They would have been beheaded by Muslims!"
It was always the couple’s original plan to post the photo from their wedding back in September.

Carly said it was a joke they’d always planned on posting, though they didn’t plan on it being as popular as it was, saying ‘the whole thing went mad’.

As a result of the ban, hundreds of British couples have been forced to cancel their big days.

This isn’t the only wedding photo to go viral in recent months, after this just-married couple staged an NSFW woodland scene, in which they appear to be performing an oral sex act to celebrate their nuptials – because apparently it’s not just the groom who kneels while proposing marital bliss.
The picture of the Dutch couple, whose names have not been published, shows a bride dressed in a traditional white gown, on her knees in a patch of forest.

The groom, dressed in a sharp blue suit, is seen standing in front of the bride with his pants down, seemingly watching over his new wife performing an oral sex act on him.
The caption on the picture reads:

"Some newlyweds cannot wait for the party to be over so they can quietly retreat to their suite for a smashing wedding night.

Luckily they already exchanged their wedding vows and they were officially married."

The highly unusual, and somewhat controversial wedding photo went viral in the Netherlands and gathered more than 27,000 likes, a figure which will be the envy of most brides, I’m sure.

Michel Klooster is the photographer responsible for what might be the most bizarre wedding picture ever taken – he said he’s already had three requests of other couples asking to take a similar picture.

It seems the trend isn’t going away, but maybe make sure you’re not offending an entire island just to get a cheeky snap.
