Melania Trump wears $3437 jumpsuit in Tokyo before pink dress change on Japan state visit

Melania Trump, 49, and President Donald Trump, 72, are enjoying their second day of a state visit to Japan. While Trump played golf with Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, Melania visited a Tokyo museum in a stylish Loro Piana jumpsuit.

Melania Trump and Donald Trump are in Japan today. The pair spent the afternoon apart - before rejoining in the evening. During the day Melania and Japanese first lady Akie Abe visited the interactive Mori Building Digital Art Museum in Tokyo for which Trump's wife donned a ‘sapphire’ jumpsuit by Loro Piana, costing $3,450 (£2,714). In the evening she went to dinner and a sumo match with Donald where she wore a pink dress.

For her daytine outfit, the 100 per cent silk shirt-style number featured three quarter length sleeves and a full, wide leg. The lapels of the Italian-made jumpsuit were trimmed with white, as were the cuffs.

The First Lady’s waist was cinched in with a chunky belt boasting an oversized buckle.

In a rare ditching of high heels, Melania wore navy blue flats on her feet.

The mother-of-one kept her hair loose so it fell about her shoulders as she mingled with children at the museum.
She kept her makeup nude with the exception of her trademark smokey eyes.

Her finely-manicured nails were painted pale pink and her two sparkling rings glistened on each hand.

Melania spoke to the school children assembled and gave out her autograph.
She even drew a purple fish and had it projected on a digital aquarium on the wall.

Akie Abe and Melania also visited the crystal room and the lamp room.

The former model was happy to pose for photos, even holding up two fingers in the peace sign as the little ones crowded in for the snap.

While the First Lady carried out her duties, her husband Donald performed his, playing golf with Shinzo Abe at a country club outside of Tokyo.

The two even took selfies together although did not speak to any press.

Melania and Donald Trump also attended a sumo match today at the Summer Grand Sumo Tournament at Ryogoku Kokigikan Sumo Hall in Tokyo.

Trump awarded the winner an over-sized, gold cup that weighs more than 60 pounds.
For this event, Melania changed into an elegant pink dress in an asymmetrical style which fell below knees.

It featured a wrap-around effect at the bodice while the sleeves fell just off her shoulders.

The pair arrived in Japan on Friday. Melania wore a £2,615 dress from Calvin Klein for the flight.

Website Matches said of the dress: “Raf Simons’s journey through Americana during his time at Calvin Klein 205W39NYC brings us this white shirtdress which is adorned with an eclectic mix of postcards depicting the West. Crafted in Italy from smooth silk, it’s cut fitted across the bust, then falls to a fluid skirt that is finished with discreet side seam pockets.”

She added navy blue Christian Louboutin heels to the look - the Agneska Scallop Leather Red Sole Pumps, which cost £581.63 from Neiman Marcus.
