World Cup 2019: Team Captains to meet Queen Elizabeth II on Wednesday
The captains of teams which are taking part in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 will meet Queen Elizabeth II at the Buckingham Palace on Wednesday.
Pakistani captain Sarfaraz Ahmed who was with the team in Nottingham has arrived in London for the meeting with the Queen.
Following the meeting with Queen Elizabeth II, captains will attend the opening party of the World Cup.
The first match of ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 will be played on May 30 with hosts England taking on South Africa at the Oval in London.
Pakistan will play their first match against West Indies on May 31 at Trent Bridge in Nottingham.
The tournament features 10 teams, with each ten playing against each other once in the group stages. The top four teams will qualify for the semi-finals (July 09, 11) with the final taking place on July 14 at Lord’s, London.
