Top 5 Bashing Celebs in an Organza Sari

The timeless sari has made a big comeback in the last couple of years – from seeing celebs donning the traditional garb to designers showcasing their own gorgeous spin on it on the runways, or even the young college girl wrapping herself up in a cotton sari to make a statement.

While the classic sari never has and probably never will go out of style – thank God for that – its popularity in popular culture has seen some dips. However, it is safe to say that its popularity is surely on the rise and one reason for it might be the stunning use of hand-painted organza fabric for it.

We’ve compiled a list of five celebs who have rocked the trend to the fullest and made us want to own a hand-painted organza saree to wear and keep as a hand-me-down for generations!

5. Mahira Khan

Mahira Khan was perhaps one of the firsts to step out for promotions wearing a Rehstore hand-painted sari and styled the classic, white floral number to perfection with a sharply-cut, yellow coat over it. Can you say, styling on point?

4. Sadaf Kanwal
Top model Sadaf Kanwal was also spotted in a gorgeous, fern and tea green-esque organza sari. The stunner looked all the more radiant in the traditional ensemble styled exactly to her taste – with a long necklace and tousled hair. This look is one of our favourites.

3. Saba Qamar

The Baaghi star has always had her style in check and so, when she rocked an organza sari, the trend hit its highest point. Clad in a beautiful red and white number with slicked back hair, Saba looked classic as ever while making a grand yet subdued fashion statement.

2. Nimra Khan
Recently, actor Nimra Khan also dressed up in a truly timeless dusty pink, hand-painted sari and paired it with a traditional, pearlescent choker to tie up her look. Needless to say, she struck a look that would surely make heads turn.

1. Mansha Pasha

Perhaps a more daring and risky take on the organza trend, Mansha chose a yellow ensemble with black, hand-painted detailing and kept it as simple as possible, letting her sari do the talking. And talking it did!
