Christina Hendricks Career

Hendricks began her career when she was still very young. She acted in children’s musical theatre productions when her family was living in Twin Falls. From the age of 18 throughout to 27 she was a model and made guest appearance on television series such as Beggars and Choosers, Angel, Miss Match, Tru Calling and several other shoes.

Her biggest role yet has to be as Joan Harris in the AMC series Mad Men. Harris is the office manager of an advertising agency where she provides mentoring to a group of women who must work to survive the hardships brought about by advertising executives. This role has been received quite positively and has seen her get four Primetime Emmy Nominations.

Apart from television she is also quite talented in music especially when it comes to playing the accordion. She demonstrated her prowess in the use of this music instrument on an episode of Mad Men. Her most recent work is the film titled Dark Places which she acts as Patty Day. It is set to be released in 2014.
