Watch: PCB Unveil Pakistan Cricket Team's New Jersey Ahead Of ICC T20 World Cup 2022

 

Prior to the 8th ICC Men's T20 World Cup, which will take place in Australia in October-November, the Pakistan National Cricket Team has unveiled their new uniform.

The group stage matches for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2022 are set to start on October 16. At the Melbourne Cricket Ground, the Super 12 round will start on October 22 and the final is scheduled on November 13.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) shared a video on social media on Monday, September 19, showing the main players from both the men's and women's teams donning the new thunder jersey. The front of the new jersey has a number of diagonal motifs in two distinct colours of green. Notably, prior to the announcement, a few images of the new jersey appeared on social media.

The ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2022 roster was revealed by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Thursday, September 15th, including 15 players.

Due to his lacklustre performance in the Asia Cup 2022, star batter Fakhar Zaman was removed from the starting lineup. Shahnawaz Dahani was not a member of the primary squad, either.

Shaheen Shah Afridi has since rejoined the team after being forced to withdraw from the recently finished Asia Cup 2022 due to a right knee ligament injury. Haider Ali and Shan Masood were also featured.

Babar Azam, Shadab Khan, Asif Ali, Haider Ali, Haris Rauf, Iftikhar Ahmed, Khushdil Shah, Mohammad Hasnain, Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Rizwan, Mohammad Wasim, Naseem Shah, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Shan Masood, and Usman Qadir are the members of Pakistan's T20 World Cup team.

Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Haris, and Shahnawaz Dahani are the reserves.
